The Xbox One Twitter Companion App was the V1 snap experience for Xbox One. Unfortunately due to technical limitations we weren’t able to ship, but the thinking and framework led to the platform integration within the Mini Guide.
The biggest challenge was defining a Twitter experience compelling enough for our users to choose the Xbox over their smartphone. We did so by making the experience less disruptive to TV and contextually relevant to the user's Xbox One activity.
