The Xbox One Application Summit was a series of developer conferences in Redmond, London, and Singapore put on by Xbox in the Summer of 2014. I spoke on behalf of Xbox Design in regards to the framework, UX model, and design best practices for the platform.
Part of my job, aside from speaking at the conferences, was working directly with app partners to provide design guidance for app experiences on Xbox One. This was a model started by Xbox design and has now been adopted Microsoft wide.
